I have a 2 year old Grandaughter. Something is wrong, but I am not sure what. Here is a list of symptoms. 1. not walking 2. abnormally large head >90th% 3. Hirsutism (she is caucasion) 4. short stature <10th% 5. motor development of 11 mo old 6. speech development of 14 mo old 7. chronic constipation 8. prominent eyebrows 9. I can lay 3 fingers across her wide open anterior fontanel 10. thin lips 11. drools constantly, tongue seems too large, and mouth sort of gapes open most of the time 12. very fussy - especially as an infant.
At first glance she appears normal to most non-medical professionals and some pediatricians, but if you look closely you would see these subtle irregularities. The only symptom that is not subtle is that other two year olds are running circles around her while she is crawling. She has very loving parents with a stay at home mom (due to her fussiness). She is a very cute little girl. Does anybody have any ideas?
