History: I recently lost 20 pounds last year from stress and landed myself at 89 pounds a few months ago. With the help of a dietitan I have gained much of it back and still working towards getting healthy. I've delt with the worest stress possible for the past five years and suffer from a low immune system. My blood work checks out perfectly and I recently went vegetarian since being "raw" for a few months made me very sick! I have low blood sugar issues that need constant protein.
Besides that in the past two months I have been experiencing the worest stabbing and itching all around my scalp. Cold sweats at night and night terrors. I began to be to sensative to be in the sun and my ears would be on fire for days if I was outside. Very tired and have vertigo.
My doctor said it couldnt be shingles because I only experienced one bump on the back of my head during the worest pain. But I have all the symptoms of it. I was given anti viral medication for shingles anways but it made me very stomach sick. Used different homeopathy shingles medicines and olive leaf oil hoping it would kill this virus. Nothing has helped. Went to the UC last night and was given high doses of motrine and an anti anxiety medication to calm nerves so I could sleep. Having panic attacks daily because I feel like nothing is working and its been already two months! Being so somber but still in pain is not working for me....I'm 19 for goodness sakes!
Went to the dermitologist today and was told I was a "puzzling case" that would need lots of MORE blood work done. Oh and that shingles can not be the case
Tomorrow I meet with a neurologist. I'm just wondering if this really was shingles or do I have Paresthesia? Is it possible that I had a rashless case of shingles and still dealing with the nerves issue afterwards?
Please help me...I'm really all alone on this and I just need answers that make sense! Whats wrong with me!
