Can you help me? My grandma 75(approx) suddenly started vomiting after visiting a celebration party & stared blankly. After hospitalization where she was given saline, she developed urinary incontinence. She still looks sluggish & seems confused. She can recognize people, but doesn't converse normally...as if not aware of what's going on around her.Complains of headache.Tests for electrolytic imbalance(maybe wrong),kidney function, thyroid & heart are ok.What's happening?

  • Hmmmmm sorry ur worried about ur gran. Have they considered a brain hemmorage or TIA's (mini stroke) Vomiting can be a sign of these, staring blankly & confusion & loosing control of bodily functions can also be a sign. I'd be very supprised if doctors haven't considered this ? I lost my own mum this way but her hemmorage was massive, everything happened so quickly that it was very obvious what was wrong, she never had a chance. If there is some kind of brain bleed there are things they can do to try & stop futher hemmorage although this is also very risky ! I dont mean to alarm you, it may be something else, its just what i know about ! Kind regards & i hope ur gran improves quickly !
