My daughter has been in pain in her pelvic area ever since September. She had an MRI done which looked good, numerous blood work done which looks good and a sonogram which showed a small cyst on 1 of her ovaries (the size of your pinky). They don't seem 2 think its coming from the cyst but I don't know. Her menstrual cycle has always been horrendous, lots of pain, vomiting, heavy. She just turned 15 in January and has another sonogram done in April. She doubles over in pain at times. The pain is all the way across her pelvic area. Has anyone else had any of the symptoms and what did u find out. Plz help!!!!

  • Is the pain constant? Does it correspond to her menstrual cycle? Does she mostly get the pain mid cycle? Have you tried putting a hot water bottle or other heat source around her pelvic area? If so, does it help or make worse? Has she ever had a fever with this pain? Burning sensation? How is her urination/ bowel movements? Does she have a lot of bloating with the pain? A small cyst causes no symptoms in some women, and extreme symptoms in others. I wouldn't rule this out as a possible cause of her pain. She needs to get help with regulating her menstrual cycle - could be endo? I recommend acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to help with her pain - it is extremely effective for menstrual pain and irregularities. To find a practitioner near you please visit www.acufinder.com. I have treated many women and young girls with painful periods, endo, and other women's issues. It is very helpful! Best wishes.DOM
