Hi I have been having really bad problems with over heating. I am on 2 different types of medication that say to stay out of the sun or to cover up if I have to be in the sun. I work at the library and no one else complains about the air conditioning. Does anyone know anything that may help me to stay cooler? It is getting to the point where I am miserable at work.

  • Try drinking plenty of fluids. It could be caused by a number of things. Depending on your age, menopause, side effects of your meds Have you always had this problem or is it new? The best bet is to check with your doctor. He can run some blood work to make sure your thyroid is doing its job at temperature regulation. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. I can't tolerate the heat or the cold, which for me is anything below 70 degrees. They are checking my thyroid functions as I write. They say they can come out normal but still not be normal for you. Good luck and have a cool summer!
