I've been having headaches for 4 months now, i'm so worry its a brain tumor, like i would not get the symptoms that people with brain tumors get, but i'm worried, i am so depress just thinking that i might have this, i tried medicine like tylenol no luck, my doctor is going to send me to a neurologist. Any symptoms of brain tumor that is common and easy to find out.

  • You usually don't have pain with a brain tumor, at least before other very obvious signs of problems like blurry vision or blindness, fainting spells, seizures, etc. Please don't worry. Go see the neurologist and make sure you tell her everything about your headaches (keep a log if you need to). She will need to know if they happen at certain times of the day or are they constant, if anything makes them worse or better, when did they start, are they getting worse and keep a log of everything you eat for a few days before going in. This information will give the doc the best chance of diagnosing your headaches and making them better. Do not be suprised or worried if a CT or MRI is ordered. They will probably want proof that there isn't a tumor present and will also check for blood flow problems. You might ask for a Sinus CT if you have a history of sinus infections or allergies. Chronic sinus infection is often missed as a cause for headaches because they don't look like a sinus headache.Good luck and relax. Take it one step at a time.
