Hello, I have occasional periods when I start to feel woozy and a bit warm, and after a while I get a rush to the head, staring from my neck. It is over in a second or two, sometimes leaving me with buzzing in both ears for a minute or two afterwards. I do NOT feel the room spinning or get dizzy in the usual sense. Just feel woozy - not quite right - for a couple of hours. Can get dryness in the mouth too around this time. The head rush sometimes happens only once, other times could be several. I get these feelings every two-three weeks. Doc has done 24 hour heart monitor, 24 hour BP monitor, Brain scan, sent me to inner ear consultant. All drawn a blank. I have kept a diary and noticed that these events seem to take place the day after I have had some extra glasses of wine. I have been drinking wine for maybe 15 years. White wine mainly. I do not wake up with a headache or classic overhang symptoms, and usually the head rush thing does not happen until between mid morning and mid afternoon. Could this be an effect of something in the wine and dehydration?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
