I have had moderate to severe head pain since Sunday of last week. Last Thursday, it was so severe I had to go to the ER. They did lab work and a CT scan and concluded I have a virus of some type. They sent me home with pain meds. The meds take the edge off the pain but I don't ever feel normal. I also just have an overall ill feeling...weak I guess. The ER doc said the only other test to give me would be a spinal tap to check for meningitis, but I don't have a fever or stiff neck so I declined the tap. Any thoughts? I'm a mom of 3 and cannot function with this. Thank you.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
