head pain, repetitive thinking and seizure

I am a 33-year old female. 4 months ago, I had a grand mal seizure out of the blue. After an emergency room visit and a follow-up with a neurologist, I was told I was completely healthy and there was no reason anyone could give me for having the seizure.
Since the seizure (and perhaps before but I didn't notice)I have been having twitching in my left eyelid, left pinky finger and left knee. I have sudden bursts of pain in my head, like lightening, and I am plagued by repetitive thinking ie. I always have something in my head, (song, phrase, etc.) repeating over and over again.
I have severe trouble finding words and have significant memory issues, but I've been told that those symptoms are probably a result of the concussion I received when I hit my head during the seizure.
Am I crazy?

  • Maybe you need to see a different neurologist?

  • I am a 22 year old female.I have vey similar symptoms the repetitive thinking, the shooting head pains often in different places and growing more severe and frequent over the last few years and eyelid twitches thumb twitches and little nervy spasms in random places all over my body. I have never had a seizure but have extreme tiredness even after a good sleep and lately my pains have included follow up pain in my sholder and getting my sentences or words mixed up when writing and speaking . I am having a ct brain scan today and hope to find the cause of these somewhat disturbing symptoms.

  • Guest262626 - that could have been written by me, though I've always had a problem with finding words - I don't know if it's gotten worse, but I HAVE had songs and stuff getting stuck in my head repetitively more often. The headaches, the twitches, everything - but I've never officially had a seizure. Did you get your results? I'm going in for my CT next week... (I don't know if you'll even get this.)
