I had an accident driving semi in 2003 and hurt my neck and back. Today 2007 my neck and back hurt even worse, but I can not get a doctor to say it is still from the accident. In the last week It hurts just to have my jacket on. I have three headaches a day. I take advil 3 200mg 3 times a day and 2 excedrine migrane. I wish there was a research facility around here were they could find out what is wrong with me. I am at my wits end. and just wish I could end it soon. PLEASE HELP ME>

  • Was it a whiplash kind of accident? My fiancee had an accident and later pain in the shoulders and neck, accompanied by severe headaches, etc.. It sounds very similiar to our situation. We went to several Doctors and they told him it was all in his head. But I was determined to get him help. About a month ago, I ran across a website for the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. There is a doctor there who treats whiplash and so I filled out the online medical form and sent it. I got a response the next day. You can even Email the guy with questions or talk with him on the phone. What it turned out to be was soft tissue damage in the neck area. We booked an appointment and he had a test to find the trigger points of the pain and during the test they found the points, temporarially numbed them and the pain was gone. I was flabbergasted! Now we are booked for a outpatient surgery to correct the problems. You might want to look into it. This Doctor is the only doctor that preforms this type of surgery.
