Whenever I eat animal protien... 15 to 30 minutes afterwards I'm STARVING. The more meat I eat the hungrier I am afterwards. I've eaten 5oz of steak and 2 cups of veggies and was ravenously hungry when I left the restaurant. I ended up snacking for 4 hours until I felt full. Other times, I ate almost an entire chicken breast, 1-1/2c of rice, a corn on the cob, and a cup of veggies. I was hungry an hour later. On the other side, if I eat meat with cheese... it rots in my stomach and gives me BAD acid indigestion, and a feeling like there's a heavy rock in my stomach.
I haven't eaten meat in a long time because of how hungry it makes me. A cup of veggies and a cup of rice keeps me full for 1-1/2 to 2 hours. I mainly consume carbs (fruits, veggies, rice, brown rice pasta, gluten-free bread, beans, etc.. And no refined ingredients whatsoever). I take vitamins made from food so I'm not lacking anything.
Anyone ever heard of a problem digesting protien? or a possible explanation of what could be happening in my body?
