I’m a 25 yrs. male and I don’t know how I’ve develop hand tremors. I have been living a stressful life for past 2-3 yrs and i think a lot, almost whole day about something or other. I'm not an alcoholic and not even smoke.Tremors started one n a half years back while picking up a cup of tea. It gets aggravated in public with fear someone might see it and I can’t stop myself thinking about it. At home it is still hardly notable but in public clearly visible which is making me afraid of going public.
I want to know if it is curable or not and which type of doctor should I contact to. Please give me right advice as its ruining my life.

Please give me right advice as its ruining my life.Hi, I am 24 years old and have had hand tremors since elementary school. Your symptoms sound alot like mine, I have finally got used to the pointing and questions...I work in a school so you can imagine how many questions the children have had. When I was in high school I saw a neurologist who told me it was heridtary (my father has the same problem-though his started later in life and are not as noticable as mine) and gave me premedone (an epilepsy medication). The medication helped, but not much. He didn't have much more to tell me except to try different things like caffine that he said may help or make it worse (I have seen caffine do niether for me). He also said try using squeezing a stress ball to help control my hands...doesn't work. My advise to you is to see a neurologist. Maybe they know a little more about this than when I went. (It has been almost 6 years since I first went.)Hope I've been of some kind of help to you.
