For quite awhile now, my left hand begins to shake uncontrollably. I have always been told it is due to nerve damage from a car accident nearly 20 years ago. Fine, but for the past 2 days or so, the same hand will (all of a sudden) draw itself up into a claw! There is no pain to speak of, but I am wondering why?! It doesn't stay that way, but it is difficult as I am a lefty! I just told my dr. about it and will be having blood work done in the morning, which I am not sure has anything at all to do with it. I guess she's being cautious?! Anyway, HELP!!!

  • I actually went to the er a few months ago because my hand went into a claw and I thought I was having a stroke or heart attack or something. Turns out I was dehydrated and my capillaries or something like that were constricting. hope this helps.

  • Do a search at www.lymenet.org for "claw hand". I am not sure which one of the tick born infections can cause this, but the info is there.Have your dr do a western blot test for lyme. Take care, ~~JerseyLymie
