 In August, I had swelling in the knuckle of my right index finger and numbness radiating into the finger. Over the next few weeks, I experienced pain in behind my right elbow, and into my shoulder. I had bloodwork completed which confirmed a high Rheumatoid factor, but all other bloodwork was normal. I was screened for Lyme disease as well as a host of auto-immune diseases, all of which were negative. MRI of the neck, bone scan of the upper extremities and xrays of my hand all are normal. The doctor put me on Daypro and a muscle relaxer, but I still have symptoms. The othropaedic told me to ignore my symptoms until "they blossom into whatever it is". Needless to say, I am not happy with the advise. I already visited a neurologist (EMG showed slight compression in the rigth wrist, but nothing major), Rheumatologist, Chiropractor, General Practioners, Orthropaedic with no luck. Any advise or anyone with similar symptoms? Typnig during the day aggravates the condition, but I need to type for a living!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
