Hello in march 2006, I had to have a lump removed from my left breast that they belived was cancerous. I was under general anestisia. they had to remove part of the milk duct because it was infected. it turns out it wasn't cancerous just several cyst clump together that had caused reaccuing infection.
when I woke my head was in so much pain. I thought it was going to explode. they said it was the anestesia so go home and let it wear off. which I did and two days later my head was in out of control pain and I became completly payalised I regained movement two days later.
I was taken to the ER and once a ct scan was done they found something called an arachnoid cyst in the posteirer fossa, and that I would have to be on pain meds the rest of my life.
fast forward to today and I have seen over 10 doctors and nobody belives it is this cyst causing my symptoms but don't know what is.
please help my symptoms are
dizziness, vomiting, walking in to walls, falling, head pain like I have been hit in the head with a baseball bat, head pressure, fluid build up in which time I can not hear and talk like I am under water, sometimes it just feels like I am drunk, seizures x3, left sided paralise x50, muscle spasms, twitching, tremors, heat sensitivity and light sensitivity I wear sunglass's inside buildings.
please if any one knows what this could be I am willing to do the reasearch. Thank you, any Ideas are helpful.

  • Please look up arachnoiditis. An excellent site is(I believe) cofwa.orgThey have quite a bit of info & a support group (C-circle,O-of,F-friends,W-with-A-arachnoiditis). One of the Drs who have papers on this site also has this herself. Best Wishes.
