I would really appreciate it if you could kindly offer me some advice regarding my sons groin problem.
He had a hernia operation about a year ago on his right side, it has slowly recovered although he still has some manageable discomfort, but for the last 6 months he has had some painful problems on the left groin side, sometimes he is in a lot of pain with it which seems worse when he is sitting down, any slight sharp jolt when he is a car passenger or movement sets it off. He is only 24 and cannot work or go to the gym. It really is getting him down.
He has had a scan on the problem left groin side, but it did not show anything wrong, i just wondered if you could advise us please
We thought initially that it could be the left groin side compensating for the right hernia side, but the right hernia side has recovered now.
The pain on the left side is sometimes severe and as i said it is always worse when he is sat down
