I am a gymnastics coach and i recieved an email from a concerned partent who child is having pain from stretching in splits during warm-up. The child has been to a family doctor who's solution is that the child quits gymnastics. She has also been to the chiro. who says to stop stretching. The child is complaining of pain in her vagina. I feel that the child might not understand that the pain is in her groin. Do you think that this is a groin strain or could splits actually be hurting her Vagina.

  • I would think it would be none of your business if the child had pains in her vagina.

  • If the child has received two professional opinions from two separate disciplines that she shoud quit gymnastics and stop stretching, you are irresponsible in making this inquiry.
