Grand Mal Seizures

All of a sudden I have started having grand mal seizures and I cannot tell when I am going to have them. It was two years since my last one this week, and six weeks prior to that. I saw a neurologist and he said everything was fine...bloodwork was also fine at the hospital. I don't know what is causing this and am frightened to drive, take trips, etc. Now that I have finally retired, I cannot do anything because of this fear. What causes these? What do I do?
