I first got gout about years ago and at that time I was a heavy drinker, so my doctor told me to knock off the booze, take some pills for six months and evedrything would be ok.
Unfortunately, though I dont drink anymore, the gout has come back to haunt me at times. First I had it in my big toes, since then I have experienced it in my ankles, knees and elbows. It has affected my elbow to the point now where I need an operation to remove a bursa.
Lately the frequency of hte attacks is increasing and it is effectingme to the point where my joints are so sore I can do nothing but sit around the house. I am an active person and this si really bringing me down.
I would love to hear of any remedies of ideas, similiar experiences people have had out there.
