Hello to everyone, well after reading on this site for so long I have decided to get some advice. My problems all started in November of 2007. While sitting at the computer my hands would get so cold that they felt like frost bite. I would put gloves on and as they would start to warm up they would burn. Then in Dec.2007 my feet had the same problem. My feet got so bad that they would turn completly blue. I went to the ER and they mentioned Neuropathy. So I made an appt. with a Neurologist and she ran an ENG. Results came back that I have Peripheral Neuropathy. After blood test were done, she said she didn't know why. I also told her that I have extreme pain in my left jaw, her response " I don't know what that is" and left it at that. She gave multiple meds, which I don't take (bad time with side effects). I am on Adderall so that I can stay awake everyday, if I don't take it I will be in bed sleeping all day. I have severe headaches, severe weekness in my wrist, knees, and feet. I use a cane to walk, and can only walk about 20 min. then have to use a power scooter. I can't even hold a blow dryer. I have extreme pain in my left wrist and hand. Also have a nodule in left hand. I can't find a doctor who will give me more than 5 min. of their time(and I am paying them) to help find out what is wrong. I recently had a Hygenist for mold come to my home and test the air(strong musty oder in sons room, where I slept due to my back) Found out that his room should have registered at 60 and it read at 348. Major Aspirgillus/Percillium mold. Well here are the rest of my symptoms: sinusitis, muscle weekness, confusion, Loose bowls, stabbing pain in upper stomache, memory loss.. My family has moved out of the house as of July 5th and we are leasing a house. All I know is that I feel like my body is wasting away everyday, and I still don't know what is wrong. Any feed back would be welcome. Sorry this is so scrambled but there is more and this is long enough. Thanks for listening..

  • Just thought I'd add a couple of things:I'm 37 years oldI have had the following test done:CT scan, came back normalUltrasound on legs for blockage, NormalBlood test for Lyme,Lupus,MS, etc.., NormalENG, not normal Went to new primary doctor today and she said there was no blood test to check for toxic levels of mold. Said that I have Reynouds Disease. Sending me to a new neurologist. She is confused as to why all the other doctors can't find a reason for all of this. Going to be taking stool samples because of diareha (sorry on spelling)for the past 11 days. I really am getting scared that I will either become paralyzed, or lose my life to whatever this is before a doctor will find the cause. Again thanks for listening..

  • akablonde.... been there, done that, got the t-shirt. I was on the medical merry go round for over a year. I finally did my own research and found my diagnosis. The next trick was to get a doc to listen to me. Finally I did and was correctly diagnosed. The Neurologist told me to find help in "alternative realms" so I did. I found NAET and BioSET therapy which alleviated all of my symptoms. I am now back to work full time after being wrongly diagnosed with Carcinoid Cancer and many other things. Turns out it was chronic fatigue syndrome (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) and Fibromyalgia. I was told I would never work again.....Just when you think the docs know everything. Ask for PCR testing for mycoplasma or ureaplasma infections. Seems almost everyone has it and it is accounting for all of the symptoms as well as the new and emerging dis-eases. I was tested for everything but mycoplasma. If you are positive, try the alternative treatments first before you let them put you on any long term antibiotics that will end up hurting you in the long run. Hope this helps mommy cat
