I have been diagnosed with Fybromyalgia for a long time. I am currently 38 and it seems to be getting worse. I have grinding noises and pain beneath my shoulder blades on my back. My back and neck hurts, pops, and spine moves constantly. I also have restless leg syndrome, as well as sciatica in the same leg. Everything seems to hurt on my right side. I have extreme fatigue and was in bed almost constantly for about 9 months and l lost weight, down to around 115lbs. I was around 145. I was literally too tired to eat or go to get food. Of course, with this, depression follows. At night my feet itch, and I cannot ever get comfortable with the temperature in the house. Either too cold or hot. Also difficulty sleeping at night. Recently, the joints in my fingers hurt almost all the time. It is difficult to type or even dial the phone. I feel almost disabled from the fatigue. I have had a complete blood workup done many times, by many doctor's, but they haven't found anything.

  • I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia for a long time. I am currently 38 and it seems to be getting worse. I have grinding noises and pain beneath my shoulder blades on my back. Also my right jaw. My back and neck hurts, pops, and spine moves constantly. I also have restless leg syndrome, as well as sciatica in the same leg. It feels like the same nerve, only sometimes it fully hurts and is very painful, other times it has a "crawly" feeling down the same nerve (?) Everything seems to hurt on my right side. Jaw, neck, ribs, breast, underarm, buttocks and leg. I have extreme fatigue and was in bed almost constantly for about 9 months last year and l lost weight, down to around 115lbs. I was around 145. I was literally too tired to eat or go to get food. Also, anytime I did eat, I had severe digestive problems. Also, last year, when I was sick in bed for months, it started around this same time (May) and I had sores in the cracks of my mouth that would not go away. Finally it cleared up sometime in Dec-Jan. It seems that after the sores went away last year that I started to feel a bit better. Recently I had an extreme wave of fatigue and the cracks on the corners of my mouth are back. I really hope it isn't a repeat of last year. I don't have any more weight I can lose, not to mention missing time from work, again. Also, if I do any strenuous activity or have a lot of stress, I feel really sick, painful muscle spasms, and mainly feel like I have the flu. I have read that can be a flare-up....but I am not confident. Some of the Doctors mentioned it was in my mind. Just in case, I visited a psychiatrist. It did not help at all with my pain, bone crunching sounds, terrible fatigue, digestive problems, joint pain and muscle spasms that will not release. I really can't imagine how I could talk this away. I currently take Klonopin for Restless leg. Also Cymbalta for depression and pain. Synthroid for and underactive thyroid, but it has been stable for years with the current dose. Also, Soma helps but only at high dosages, so I try to avoid that as much as possible. Any advice would be much appreciated, and feel free to ask if you have any additional questions.

  • The area's that hurt on my right side get bright red spider veins on them when I lie on a heating pad. Sometimes the veins have stayed for weeks after being exposed to the heating pad. The left side of my body, or the few area's on the right side of my body that don't hurt do not change color at all. It has become a convenient way to show my boyfriend the areas that hurt. Just lie on a heating pad and they all light up. There is a muscle spasm that won't go away on the front of my shoulder, despite trigger point injections, etc. and the whole thing turns bright red. Everything else just has the red spider veins. Has anyone ever heard of anything like this before?
