Getting no answers from my GP!

Might as well give this a try. I'm 25, female.
1. Muscle pain, severe, all over the body, especially noticable in the throat and chest, but affects all other muscle groups. Hard to get out of bed in the morning. Pain changes muscle groups from day to day, yesterday it was the front of my calves and my shoulders, today it's triceps, abdominals, thigh muscles and scalp.
3. Dull headache somedays, I think this is unrelated.
4. Tightness in my chest on deep inspiration.
5. Throat pain with swallowing.

The pain seems to get better througout the day but comes back full force the next morning. This occurs for about 3-4 days in a row, then I feel fine for 4-5 days. The pain seems to occur more often on weekends or when I'm not working. This has been going on for about 8 weeks now.

My GP says it's a 'viral infection' which makes no sense since I have never been a sick person. I had mono that lasted 2 weeks and was very mild. My immune system has always been very good.

Anyone out there have any ideas?
