I've had Generalised Granduloma Annulare for three years now. I've seen about 55 dermatologists. I went to University of Miami grand rounds and had 50 Doctors look at my skin/rash and figure out a diagnosis. In addition, I had a biopsy. I also saw two local Derms. Who also Biopsied different areas where the rash was. All agreed I had G.A. and a very unusual form.
I've tried creams, had UV light therapy, took 200mg of Plaquenil twice aday, 25 mg of Atarax every six hours for itching, every three months an injection of pregnizone/court ozone combo, and now a spray. None of the treatment modalities have worked!
The Doctors are consulting a world specialist in Granduloma Annulare.
The rash is spreading and covers about 75-80% of my body, and the itching is terrible!
Anyone out there with information about G.A.?
