Hey all,

For the past 7 months I have been having abdominal (middle and lower) pain throughout the day.
In the beginning it was mostly lower, accompanied by a lot of gas.
More recently, it has become middle also with gas pockets that I can feel.

However, lately I only get the stomach pains when I first wake up. Probably about an 8 on the pain scale, and it's mid abdominal cramps and gas.

When I first went to my gp, he said it was constipation.
I went back 2 months later, had an X-ray done and i was impacted and had to go high fiber and miralax for a while.

After becoming normal, I went back. I was put on nexium which gave me diarrhea and worse abdominal pain. so I was taken off (after 5 days) and refered to a gastroenterologist.

Since then I have had an EGD and bloodwork that came back neg for Celiac, H Pylori, and ulcers.
The doctor put me on a 2 week lactose-free diet. after 5 days I found no help, and did a test drinking a lot of milk and finding no discomfort or gas after. I have ruled out lactose intolerance.

Now the doctor says it may be IBS.

These symptoms sound like anything anyone may know or have?

Thank you all for your help!
