Current Issues:
- Heat intolerance
- Heat burn from lots of foods and sweets.
- Regular bowel movements however they are never normal.
- Discomfort about 1 hour after eating. Feels like my guts cliches into a fist.
- Lots of stomach/gut noises all the time.
- Sometimes feel like I have trouble breathing.
- Feels like I always have pinned gas, but don't pass much gas.
- Sometimes have chest pains.
- Muscle tiredness especially in arms and legs. Arms and legs often feel tingly sort of.
- Beer is not well tolerated at all and I am used to drinking lots of beer.
** I have tried some different diets based on some of my symptoms. Someone told me about Candida so I decieded to try the diet to see how I felt. After a week, I start getting bad reflux and feel chest flutters. I then awake every night with a rapid heart beat. After returning to a normal diet this subsided.
** My allergist mentioned Celiac to me several months later so I decided to try a glutin free diet while waiting for my blood results. After about a week, I got the exact same problem (chest flutters when lying down and rapid heart beat when going to bed). Again after returning to a normal diet this goes away. Blood test were negative.
Symptom Timeline:
- 3 years ago - hives when excersing.
- was told by my allergist to take daily anti-histamines.
- This all but stopped the hives
- 2 years ago - I felt a stitch in my left side that wouldn't go away (the start of my digestive problems).
- I had really bad constipation followed by really bad diarahea for about 2-3 weeks and stich was still there.
- Scared to death I went for an ultrasound and nothing was found.
- Started having palpitations several weeks later.
- Stopped taking my antihistamines in fear this may be causing a problem.
- Went for MRIwhich can back fine.
- Stitch in my side eventually went away but I had bowel issues.
- Past Year - My allergies have gotten better, especially since getting rid of cat, however grass now bothers me (new).
- Started getting very fatigued as mention above and now struggle to even work some days.
- Very Heat Intolerant.
- Feel like my stmoach is clinched and hear lots of digestive noises.
- Seems like everything that is not bland food gives me heartburn, expecially sugar.
- Often feel heag fog, hard to concentrate.

My gastro refused to give me a colonoscopy and told me I was stressed. I have a new appointment with him this Friday and I am demanding to have one. My family doctor wants to to have a test for sleep apnea. Am I going nuts?

  • Good news!! You are not going nuts!! You are having the same symptoms I had. The only help I found was here in this forum. Eatafruit78 recommended NAET/Bioset therapy. She had all of my symptoms and stated that this therapy worked for her. I found a local practicioner and went. My symptoms are gone.last year my doc had me applying for SSDI and told me I would never work again. After my 6 treatments, I went back to my regular doc. He was astounded at my recovery. He even called the Bioset practicioner himself because he was so impressed. This is what will help. I went to every doc, had every test, all came back normal...tried every pill.....BIOSET gave me back my life. Try just 3 sessions...you won't believe it!! all my gastro probs disappeared...and I had ALL of them:D best of luck...mommy cat www.naet.com www.bioset.net Go get your life back, I did!!

  • Heat Intolerence , heart beating hard, and muscle weakness are also symptoms of Hyperthyroid. Ask Dr to do blood work for your thyroid. Do you have high blood pressure? This is what to look for when you get your blood work back: Serum TSH is usually low T3 and free T4 are usually high I also have many stomach upsets too and gas, also trouble with concentration. I have all symptoms of hyperthyroid but tests say no. Let me know what you find out. As EvErCat

  • Thanks for all the replies. I have had my blood work done about 100 times over the past 3 years and it always comes back fine. I think I will pursue the colonoscopy/endoscopy to be 100% certain. Does the rapid heart rate/flutters when limiting sugar/carbs make sense to anyone?

  • How about an ulcer? The heartburn feeling and stomach pain would be consistent with a stomach ulcer or severe acophogeal reflux

  • Just back back from an appointment with my gastro and he refuses to giv eme an colonscopy/endoscopy. Says we don't have any evidence of a stomach issue where he would perform those procedures. He told me stress is likely the cause of all my issues. I ending up leaving his office, neither of us were very happy. This guy is so frustrating. I need to get a new referral!Any ones else dealing with nut job doctors like this?

  • Unfortunately there are too many incompetent doctors today who are over booked, under educated and overpaid.I did my own research after being passed around to every doctor like the town bike...everyone got a turn.I took the info to my doctor who proceeded to tell me that I did not have "Encephalitis"...I attemtped to explain again, that I had Myalgic Encephalomyelitis...He wouldn't listen. I fired him.I took my binder full of medical records, ruling out every other possibility and my ME info to a new doc who is "verse" in CFS. CFS is what the US calls ME. The only help I found was here in this forum. Someone recommended NAET/Bioset therapy. I went. I am now going back to work...when they told me I never would...what do they know? I had every gastro problem known to man....but not anymore!! check it out. There are many people in this forum discussing it....because it works!! Best regards, mommy cat
