Wow, so glad to find out other people are like me. I get the rash all over my upper body, neck, stomach, chest, back, shoulders, but never my legs or arms. This time it is also on my forehead! I have been getting this rash for about 5-6 years now. I am 31. I just had a miscarriage yesterday and broke out with the rash yesterday. Its like my body is expressing itself anytime I have any type of bodily trauma such as a cold, flu, sore throat, body aches, and now during my miscarriage. Very weird. What is also strange is that when I was pregnant with my 2 1/2 year old I never had the rash the whole 9 months.. and of course was sick with nausea, etc. and never had the rash..as soon as my daughter was born, the rash was present. Very good to know I am not the only one who gets this. Mine is like others describe it, bumps that soon all run together and look like a bad sunburn- lasts about 48-36 hours but never any longer. Sometimes may itch, but usually does not. I have had chicken pox before but that was a long time ago. Have also not had any doctors able to tell me what it is that I have. Hope some day we can figure this out!

  • Add another one to your club.... I am so glad to know that I am not alone. I have doctors tell me that it is an allergy to my own antibodies. It happens whenever I am sick, started about 20 years old, I am 46 now and it seems to get worse as I get older. It never used to hurt and over the last couple of years it gets sensitive on day 1 and two. It usually is gone by day 3-4 but skin looks dry. It stars on my stomach, armpits, inner thighs and then travels outward, up to the top of my neck. Never on my face so far. I would really like a diagnosis and can't seem to get anyone to tell me a name for this. Has anyone had luck getting a name for it. Saying its an immune disorder and no name is annoying and it appears that there are many of us. I also had Mono as a child and Strep. I want to take this information to my doctor so that he can see I am not alone

  • I have gotten a rash every single time I've been sick for all of my 72 years. It's on the inside of my arms and legs, some on my chest, on my scalp and on my neck. My eyes itch too, but I don't see any spots on them. I'm really TIRED of this!! This time it started when I got a flu shot and a pneumonia shot on the same day.
