about a year & a half ago i was diagnosed with hypothyroidism...i have religiously taken my meds for it...however i still suffer from the symptoms...recently i went back to my doctor over it...they raised my dosage (synthroid) but it made things worse...i was extremely jittery, anxious, tense...so they lowered it again...i have had them test my female hormones...i have been checked for sleep apnea...but i have neither of these...i can't help but think that something else is wrong possibly along with the thyroid disorder...any suggestions as to where to go from here??

  • Something else could definately be wrong. Have doctors performed any kind of testing (x-rays, CT scans, MRI) to look for tumors? Assuming everything checks out OK, your medicine apparently isn't working and so you may also want to ask if they can change to a different one.
