I am a 30-year old otherwise healthy female who has been having a multitude of problems for over a month now. It started with a "bump" on my abdomen, about 2" above my navel. Was and still is painful. First was told that I was constipated; then that I had duodenal ulcers; then it was either a lipoma (fatty tumor) or an abdominal wall separation. I have seen 4 general practitioners and 1 general surgeon. Nothing apparently can be done for whatever is wrong with me. I have had an abdominal sonogram - results were all normal. Bloodwork - all normal. Thryroid - normal. Could not afford the abdominal CT scan that a doctor wanted done (insurance would not cover all of it). Now my pain is still in my "bump", but it's also radiating up to my heart at times and down to my uterus/ovaries at times. Plus, directly under my left ribcage, it is starting to feel tender and painful when pressure is applied (stomach area). I also have middle-to-lower back pain at times as well. I have an appointment with my OB-GYN on November 17th for her to evaluate me, as the surgeon who suggested that I had an abdominal wall separation said it was due to my pregnancy (which was over 3 years ago). Hopefully I will get some sort of answer from her, but it's still almost 3 weeks away. I am scared and frustrated that something is seriously wrong with me.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.:)
