I developed a gait problem about 2 years ago. I lift my left leg when I walk. I've been to a Chirpractor, Sports Therapist, had X-rays on left hip, MRI's on Lower lumbar, Thoricac spine, Neck & Head, EMG on my left leg (normal) last seen by an Orthopedic and I've developed bursitus because of my walk. The Mayo Clinic has turned me down for an appointment and now I'm waiting for an appointment with the U of M Ataxia Clinic. I do have Cerebellum Atrophy but the neurologist doesn't understand why because I have NO symptoms. No strength loss, muscle loss, etc. I'm really tired of getting no where with this and it's starting to bother me. Can any one offer a suggestion as to what might be going on?
