I've been to 9 different drs./specialists in the past 4 years. Here is the basic information: We know from several ercp scopes showing ****y bloody sores in the ducts and even into the organs of the pancreas, kidneys, duodenum, illiac, etc. a blood test for H pholori was negative but tests for shingles (zozter) is extremely high so the general thought is that I have shingles in those areas (but none on the outside, skin etc). I am chronically dehydrated to the point of requiring IV fluids every 4 - 8 weeks. I run a low grade temp. most of the time (1 - 2 degrees) I have sometimes extreme pain on mostly my right side that goes through into the back area. It doesn't radiate around to the back, it feels like it goes so deep that it hurts in my back. I've had a problem off and on with kidney stones, urinary tract, bladder & kidney infections. I drink lots of water. Very few or no cokes, tea etc. I really work at drinking plenty of water and 100% juices (mostly cranberry). I have a lot of nausia - not usually actually vomiting just that feeling of nausea that won't go away. I don't eat much at one time because it causes more pain & I have days that I just nibble enough to get by and be able to take meds. even without eating much, I can't seem to lose weight and I have a lot of edema (mostly hands, arms, face, feet). I was prescribed large doses of Lipitor previously (40 mgs. per day) but was taken off later because of "bad lab work results". Is it possible that the Lipitor has caused all these problems?
