I have been having upper abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, either diarrhea, or constipation, dizziness, weight gain which maybe unrelated, my face gets really warm, and burns. I have had these symptoms for 4 years. I've had my gallbladder removed, and the upper EDG thing or whatever. two ct scans numerous blood work and two ultrasounds. I have been to 3 GI doctors. They either think I'm lying about being sexually active and I'm pregnant or I'm mental. I'm only 18. I shouldn't be so sick. I feel like I'm dying before my life has even started. any advice?

  • Dear Girlofpages18, It sadden me to see a person as young as you suffered to much, all the doctors that you have seen and all the humiliation you endured. I can help you. Please email me.When you receive my reply, read them carefully. You may also ask your parents to read the email until they are sure that the help is genuine. Then you can decide whether you want the treatment. poodlesamy at live dot com

  • Have you been evaluated by an OB/GYN? you could possibly have endometriosis. There is also the possibility of Celiacs disease.. do not let the doctors tell ou when it is time to stop looking for answers, you are your best advocate! the squeaky wheel gets the grease! so be loud and do not give up! Best of Luck to you!

  • thanks for all the replies. I was starting to think that no one would ever take me seriously. June 30 I'm going to have another EGD or EDG whichever, and a scan with dye to check for missed gallstones. And during the c/t scans they did find a cyst that was about and inch by and inch they said it was a dermoid(sp?) cyst and they are doing another ultrasound. I have hypothyriodism and most of my symtoms could be explained by that , but I take the pill and my levels come back within normal ranges, so I'm at a loss.
