About 2 months ago I started haveing a foul vaginal odor. I was tested for stds 3 months ago and all came back negative. I have been with the same partner and was tested with him and he also came back negative. I know he hasn't cheated on me because I am with him every moment of the day. I have been homeless for the past 3 months and have had sex without showering afterwards. Do you think this could have caused it? Is there a way to fix it? I am very worried about myself and have yet to see a doctor because of haveing no money or health insurance. I have no other symptoms just foul smell. Can I die from this? Is there any over the counter drug I can buy to treat it? Thanks.

  • All counties have free STD clinics. Look under County, health department in the front of the phone book. They all check for syphilis, too, along with most stds. They do not check for warts or herpes, however. You wouldn't know if you have that if it is internal. A pap might show something and some counties have a women's department where they will do paps. If nothing else, sounds like you've picked up a germ. Walk in to Planned Parenthood and see if they will take care of you; tell them what the problem is and that you are homeless. No, nothing over the counter will fix this.
