Foul smell in gums of one tooth

I had extracted one extratooth which had come over existing tooth
two years back but there is pain occurence while taking cold thing in
that area and by smelling the finger after touching the gum portion
smells very bad.

  • It is completely unlikely that a dental alveolus after tooth extraction has not healed in two years. This can only happen if you have severe immunodeficiency or have had radiation to the area. If this is not the case, the infection comes from another tooth. Please see your dentist. Good luck! :)
