My story is like yours. You need an icat cone beam x-ray. I had osteomyelitis. this cannot be seen with a cat scan or x-ray unless you have had special training. The i-cat shows the interior of the bone. My osteomyelitis had gone misdiagnosed so very long that my surgery was a monster. I had my upper jaw bone replaced with cadavier bone and some of my palate. My bone morrow had turned to toxic soup. It will be quite a while for my healing to take place. I used a PST for quicker healing. You must find a doctor that understands NICO leisons. Good luck. I wish I could give you my doctor's name. I don't quite know the rules of this site. Write back. arlana
