Foot Muscle Problem

Every once and a while, the muscle on the bottom of my right foot near the ball, feels like it slips out of place. It forces my toes to curl in on their own and gives me intense pain. I have to grab my toes and pull them backwards in order to get the pain to stop.

It happens randomly every few months or so. Any idea what it could be and/or how to stop it?
