I am a 32 year old woman, who got foot and ankle edema on both legs ten days ago, for no apparent reason. I have been blood examined and the doctor concluded that no disease is suggested by the tests and has sent me to an allergy specialist as that sort of problem could be indicated by my increased erytrocytes levels, the only wrong thing he could see. I have never really had any allergy before and it is the autumn. I wonder what other examinations I should ask the internist to do, for the allergy specialist said that I have to wait two weeks to get examined, and that it should be seen only as a supplementary exam. Thank you.
