:( :(
Can anyone help, suggest what the actual problem could be or even tell me if they have suffered similarly?

The Wednesday befor New Year (2007) I was diagnosed with a Kidney infection and pout on antibiotics for 7 days. The medication made me feel sick with indigestion if I consumed any milk but I managed to go without full fat milk for the week and now don't bother with it as my partner doesn't like it anyway.

Since the infection has cleared I've been suffering from chronic Nausea and vomiting which begins approx 10-15 minutes after I eat or drink anything at all.

My GP has taken, stool, water and blood samples and has even booked in an endoscope and ultrasound. Yet he admits he has no idea what is causing my discomfort.

I have PCOS if that could make iany difference?

Please help if you can.

Many thanks

  • Have you tried any of the probiotic drinks? I suggest taking these once or twice a day for a couple of weeks. They should get your systems good bacteria back in balance from your recent ailment and need for antibiotics. I would also suggest cutting down or out caffeine and soda drinks.

  • A good place to start Midge thank you.I've been enjoying those drinks in the morning for about 2 and a half weeks now and I must admit they don't make me sick but everyday meals and things still do bring nausea etc.As for fizzy drinks.........I don't actually drink them, I had braces as a child and was advised against them so I never really got into them, the sensation of having my tongue tickled is not nice. ;) One thing I didn't add in my opening post though is that I am allergic to a variety of fruits, namely anything particularily sharp like Lemons, oranges, limes etc.:(

  • I recommend trying to find a practitioner who does NAET technique to help with your allergies. This is the only technique that actually ELIMINATES allergies to all kinds of food, vitamins, environmental allergies. It is truly amazing and you can find a practitioner near you at www.naet.com concerning your nausea, is it possible you could be pregnant? If you are on birth control and took antibiotics, this would be a definite concern. Have you taken a test or gotten your period? I would just rule this out. do you have any problems with constipation or diarrhea? do you have any epigastric pain with the nausea? Any vomiting or just nausea? The probiotics are a good idea, as well as digestive enzymes. Fresh ginger made into a tea is brilliant for nausea. However, if it continues to cause problems you should get it checked. Best wishesDOM
