Folliculitis? Chicken pox? something else?

So a skin condition has been affecting me since at least last tuesday. It's been accompanied by a slight fever (around 100), sore throat, and extremely sore / tight muscles all over my body. Bad enough that I can't get comfortable laying down without pain killers.

The first doc I saw said it looked like folliculitis and prescribed Doxycycline for ten days. Started taking that on wednesday around noon. On friday, my symptoms were even worse. More coverage of sores and muscles ached even more. Also there were sores in my mouth and palms of my hands, which is not typical for folliculitis (from my understanding). I went back in to see another doctor, who thought it could be some other kind of viral infection or maybe even chicken pox. She took some swabs for further testing and I'll only know the results tomorrow. I kept taking the antibiotic, but it hasn't helped at all.

I'm attaching some pics. Anyone have any clue what this could be? I thought the symptoms looked like a severe reaction to cat scratch disease. Which could make sense, since I've always been pretty allergic to cats and just recently starting spending a lot of time at my girlfriend's place and she has a cat. Any input would be appreciated.
