I have just recently been getting a facial flush and red eyes in the morning - beet red. I have been on the pill for menstrual pain for over 3 months, and it is working. I also have high blood pressure for the first time ever. 142/92, usually I am 135/80 or so. I am under stress but have been for a long time - stressful job, so I don't know why that would cause the flushing or high blood pressure. Ideas?:o

  • Thanks for the info. I skimmed it briefly but am going to read it in more detail tomorrow. I have been diagnosed with and am on meds for some of the conditions cited in the article (e.g. migraine and hypothyroidism). This could just be another symptom. I'll have to check into it further.
