I have been having a problem with liquid dripping in my throat. It has come and gone intermittantly for 10 years. Now I have a herniated disk in my back and it is worse than ever. I am convinced that it is a spinal liquid leak. I have had a CT & MRI and the MD's havent found anything but the herniated disk, and say that it is not related. They say it could be post nasal drip, but I have never had that before and don't have the other symptoms of coughing or cold and I don't believe thats what it is. I have pressure all through my head and when I press on my neck/back or lay down the dripping gets worse.

I had a baby 4 months ago and my husband and family thinks it is post partum depression/anxiety. I don't think I'm crazy like they say.

Has anyone else had this? Help with any information please!

  • I had a constant headache it would not go away for nothing, regardless how much med's I would take. I felt like my head was going to explode out of my ears. I also had MRI's, Lumbars and they all came back normal. Then one doctor laid me totally flat on a table. My headache went away. Then he sat me up and my headache was back. See at home we lay on pillows, and don't lay totally flat. The next day they had me scheduled for a blood patch. Immediate relief. My Neurologist says that is a RARE condition that sometimes small leaks care unnoticable via tests. I have had another leak since, Current right now, I can not get appt until June. At least this time I know what to do, to sooth it. Lay flat, and load up on Caffine!
