I have exhausted all avenues and am so desperate for an answer. My son now twenty, for the past five years has been unable to walk more than ten metres or stand for a few mintues without his legs turning to jelly, and then collapses from pain and fatigue. His knees are also very sensitive to touch and is in pain for most of the time. All types of tests have been run and many specialists seen, yet nothing shows in his blood, muscles or neurologically, therefore what does one work on? Any parent seeing their child in pain and sadness simply is heart breaking. I will not give up searching. He his home bound and I am his carer and needless to say both of us are suffering despression severely and have become hermits as it has become difficult being around anyone who does have a life as such. We find it easier to just not socialize or comminucate with anyone as we are constantly rehashing the same old stories. I must remain strong for my boy as I have no help, but I now have hit rock bottom from the worries of his health http://f1.hgimg.com/images/smilies/frown.png
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where else or who else would be of help?

Ask to see a rhumatolist, it could be fibromyalgia , it does not show up in blood
