Can anybody help with these symptoms? I am scared to death it's MS. My entire body shakes all day long (worse at night) and I have a fine tremor of the hand. It stops at rest. I have also developed a tingling/ fluttering sensation in the back left side of my neck/ lower skull. This can last all day or be worse at night.

I've had a full thyroid workup because my thyroid is enlarged, but nothing came back. My endo thought that I showed a sign with my fingers and a blood pressure cuff that indicated hypocalcemia, but my calcium levels came back normal. I am seeing a neurologist soon. Could it be alkalosis? Would I have been checked for that if they checked my electrolites and took my blood?

Please help.

  • I don't know, but if you find out, please post it! I'm having the same, or very similar, symptoms. I've been wondering if it's TMJ, causing compression of the cervical spine... Giving up caffeine and avoiding sugar helped, so insulin response must make it worse, but it's not gone. And, as you said, it's worse at night. And pretty alarming...
