I've been diagnosed with Fibrous Dysplasia in my Sphenoid bone, as well as part of the sinus, however pressure has been tested and my eyes and such appear to be fine at this point. (Though under continuous monitoring.)

I've also been diagnosed with Basilar Migraines, though I've been told migraines are genetic, is there any change that the two are related?

  • I too have both fibrous dysplasia of sphenoid sinus and severe migraines. My doctor does not believe that the two are related, but what a coincidence.

My doctor does not believe that the two are related, but what a coincidence.I have ***t been diagnosed with the above in the maxillary sinus. It has so far caused visual defects and a lot of pain. An operation is being planned by the NHS so I wont hold my breath. It is also into numberous other bones and strong painkillers do help.If you can read this then you are alive...enjoy.
