I am a 34yr old female non smoker. Have been healthy for the most part up until a year ago. I have been diagnoised with fibromyalgia,ICP(intracranial pressure due to my weight 400lbs"my cholestrol is fine,no diabetes" ) Arthritis, and degenerative spinal disease. My main concern is almost a year ago I started getting flu like symptoms(chills, body aches, tenderness all over, and crabby) no fever, and was NOT sick with the flu like a normal case of the flu, does that make sense? My Rhumetology dr ran several tests, the only thing abnormal was when I went in while experiencing a bout of flu like symptoms was during the blood test,my WBC count was 11. something. That was the only thing out of the norm. The flu like symptoms come and go without warning, and I never know how long they will last. The length they vary from are from 1-5 days. I get so chilled and ache soooo bad all I want to do is either lay in bed or sit in my chair covered in a blanket. Once I cover myself I feel as if im sweating the "flu" away but NO fever. Im at my wits end on what to do and where to go. Do I need a different doctor? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
