Male, 71 yrs old. 4th of July, chest pain, normal chemical panel, and hematology blood work up, upper portion of heart slightly engrossed, frequent fribulation elevated pulse, given aspirin and sent home. 15 days later, temp. of 101-103 degrees for 4 days, Tylenol for the fever, no other symptoms, has continued with morning temp of 99.6 raising to 101 in late afternoon. Only symptoms: extreme fatique, lack of appetite, white coating on tounge. All blood work and exam by internist are normal. Each day feeling worse and weaker. Any ideas? Thanks !:confused:
