:confused:I am 24 years old, male. Since 15 days ago, I have got a fever every night(After I got the fever, the temperture is increasing slowly, usually up to 102.4, the highest is 103.1) while the next moring the body temperature is alright. When i got fever, my consciousness is completely clear, I can do everything as normal. Meawhile, i feel a little bit of dizzy. There are no other obvious uncomfortable symptoms. Never had a cough or nose run.

Can anyone in the forum tell me if they have had the same problem at all. Any feedback would be appreciated.

  • I'm going through the same thing right now! It happened the evening after I had SEVERE menstrual bleeding, which turned out to be a miscarriage. That was almost a week ago, I'm still having fever at night with sever headaches and cramps. I'll try everything to make myself sweat and the fever will come down and be gone in the morning. Very strange, blood tests show no infections.

Never had a cough or nose run. Can anyone in the forum tell me if they have had the same problem at all. Any feedback would be appreciated.I'm 29 year old male. I have exactly the same problem. The fever has lasted for 2 weeks. But the only difference is that i noticed swollen lymph nodes on the left side of my neck. In the past, i checked my lymph nodes throughout my body regularly so I know I don't have any obvious ones on my neck. That's why I know they just appeared. However, they're small and hard, with diameter of about 5mm. They're hurting when I press them. I also have upper back pain. I guess it's some sort of infection. my blood test came back normal. There is no bacterial infection in my blood and my white blood cell count is within the normal range. Then my doctor suspected it might be viral infection, but without sufficient information regarding other symptoms besides fever, he couldn't decide to test which virus is the cause. He did test mono for me, but it was negative. I did some research online and also talked to some of my clinician friends. Based on these symptoms I have, there could be several possible causes. I listed some here so you guys can also discuss:1. Tuberculosis infection or pneumonia (some patients do not have any other symptoms but just prolonged fever) 2. Flu virus (some patients may have only prolonged fever)3. Heavy metal poisoning such as Mercury (if you've ever had your teeth filled or you've been exposed to high concentration of mercury vapor or you've had a lot lot lot of fish such as tuna, sharks etc. in the past, you should consider this possibility)4. Lyme's Disease5. Adult Still's Disease6. lymphoma or lupus (oh, NO! I certainly don't want this to happen. But this is unlikely considering you don't have other symptoms) 7. god knowsI don't know what happened to me, but after I took some Chinese herbs medicine which is used to treat flu, i felt much better now and even I still have very low fever every night, but it's usually between 99-100 and the duration became shorter and shorter. For example, today is the 14th day since i had my first fever, i only have a short time of slight fever for like 1 hour and then my body temperature went back to under 98.6 which is the normal. So i guess i might have some kinda infection, maybe flu maybe not, and the Chinese medicine worked for me somehow. So my point here is you probably have some infections in your body. Rest well and drink a lot of fluids and eat healthy, nutritious food. You body may clean them up by itself, but seeing a doctor is necessary if it persists for too long, although I think it will take a lot of efforts for your doctors to finally figure out what's going on. At least that's the case for me....

  • my Sister had Jaundice with Hepatitis A and hyperthroidism. Her Bilirubin count went to 30, it came down a bit after 2 months of treatment and hospitalization. We will see in the next if its in range but i guess it wont be.

Meanwhile we were about to take her home, but she got fever one night, we did CT scan and had some swelling in lymph nodes and now she is started having fever of about 100- 104... Don't know what to do. we are thinking to do biopsy but the size is 18 mm .
