I am a 28 year old healthy female who has been suffering from extreme itching on one side of my vagina for the past few months. It is always in the exact same place and I very rarely get it anywhere else.
I thought it was thrush and took an oral capsule plus used the cream but still it continues...
I am thinking of going to my GP but its fairly embarrassing and I've never suffered anything like this before!

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

  • Possible causes: Allergy caused by chemical irritants- Eczema can start any time of life and be anywhere on the body- Dryness have you found using tampons a problem latelySTI - If there is a discharge then it could possibly be a sexully transmitted infection. Whichever of these it could be I would suggest visiting your doctors for the correct diagnosis soyou can put your mind to rest.
