Hello,

I'm new to this sight. For the past two weeks I have been having the funniest feeling. I feel as if I'm on a ferris wheel, the feeling you get in your stomach when you go over. Also having tightness in my head from my eye to the base of my head. Only on the right side. I have been feeling dizzy as well. Then on yesterday I had a nosebleed (on the left side) weird. The episodes are becoming more frequent. So I went to the Dr. he told me he initally thought it was vertigo, but since I had the pain in my head with the nosebleed he feels that it could be something more. So next week I will get a MRI. Have to wait until next week because all the offices were close on Black Friday.

I was reading some of the other posts. I have chronic sinusitis, two sinus surgeries, (the lining in my nose is so thin now I cannot blow my nose) I had a nervous breakdown in September. I am seeing a therapist. I was taking Lexapro for the depression but it was making me constipated so I stopped taking it. I have a problem with fluid retention (no one can tell my why) so I take a diuretic and I am entering menapause.

My purpose for being here is I need answers, I would certainly appreciate any comments or suggestions anyone may have.

  • , two sinus surgeries, (the lining in my nose is so thin now I cannot blow my nose) I had a nervous breakdown in September. I am seeing a therapist. If the lining inside your nose is thin.. this can make you much more prone to nose bleeds. My daughter has a very thin covering over the vessels inside her nose.. and this caused a major heamorrage (to the point of she basically drowned in her own blood and should of had a blood transfusion but doctors didnt realise how much blood she'd lost till much later) in her case. (she needed resusitation.. doctors have spoken about doing skin graft inside her nose). Anyway.. i just wanted to throw out the possibility that nose bleed could be caused by almost exposed blood vessels.

  • Did they conduct a neurologic exam by making your eyes fallow an H shape they make with their finger? did they find any facial muscle weakness. Have you had any Visual impairment?I want to tell you that the first thing that came to my mind is a Suprasellar tumor that produces ADH.The water retention could be caused by over production of ADH, the disease is called SIADH. One of the possible causes of SIADH is tumor..The main problem with this theory, is the lack of occular disfunction.Keep in mind that this is just the first of many theories that would fit your symptoms..

No one has told me that before.

Since all dr offices were closed I had to go to a urgent care facility. But two years ago I had something weird going on with my left eye. I could see flashes of light and something white flashing across the bottom of my eye. I had also lost the side vision in that eye as well. Went to see a retna specialist they diagnoised it as MEWDS disease. They told me that the retna was trying to detach. So I have to keep it checked every 6 months.

  • Thanks for your reply. I will research the possibility of skin graft. No one has told me that before. i doubt very much that you are needing a skin graft thou.. seeing you are not having regular nose bleeds or lifethreatening nose bleeds but yes if you get either of those two issues.. surgery then be something to discuss with a doctor. i just did my post just to point out that nose bleed could of been caused just by that issue and hence possibily be completely unrelated to the other symptoms.
