HI,
I AM NEW TO THIS, MY SISTER FOUND THIS SITE AND IN HOPES THAT I FIND SOME KIND OF HELP.
I HAVE HAD FEET PAIN 24/7 FOR 6 YEARS, AT TIMES THE PAIN IS UNBEARABLE, I HAVE HAD A NUMBER OF TEST, SHOTS, PILLS, ETC. AND NOTHING WILL TAKE AWAY THE PAIN AND HAVE NOT HAD A TRUE DIAGNOSIS. I HAVE BEEN TOLD I HAVE FIBROMYALGIA BUT THERE IS NOT A SITE ON THE NET THAT MENTIONS FIBRO IN THE FEET....
PLEASE IF YOU HAVE ANY INFO YOU CAN GIVE ME I WILL RESEARCH IT.
I NEED SUGGESTIONS BEFORE I GO TO A DOCTOR, I RECENTLY LOST OUR HEALTH INS. SO JUST GOING TO A DOCTOR AND COMPLAINING OF THE SAME PAIN IS NOT AS EASY AS IT WAS WHEN I HAD INS.

  • I also have severe foot pain. I think it is gout or a build up of Uric Acid. Google Uric acid and change your diet for a week, you have to find a way to neutralize the acid and there are foods that will do that. I am in the process of doing the same thing since not only do my feet hurt and swell daily, but my knees and elbows are also having problems. Let me know how it turns out. Missy

  • Can you describe how it hurts? Does it feel better to massage them, or does the thought of that make you cringe. Is it a burning pain? (peripheral neuropathy). Is it worse at the end of the day? Do they look different or change color. Is it orthopedic and might be helped by orthotics?

  • :( The thought of anything touching my feet makes me cringe ! The only color change is red.....I have no other visible signs. I have been through a number of test and a number of doctors. The pain is dull, sharp, throbbing, burning, just about any pain you can think of. I have this pain 24/7, it worsens during weather change and during my monthly cycle, thats when the pain is unbearable. I recently spoke with an ortopedic surgeon and he suggested heel soles to build up my heel, he wants me to wear shoes 24/7 for 6 weeks with these heel soles to see if this helps. I am on day 3 with the heel soles and have seen a little help, but then again i have not worked the last 3 days either so I am not on my feet near as much. Thank You, Hope to hear from you again, Jeanna

  • Again peripheral neuropathy...maybe from diabetes? There is a drug called Lyrica that has helped a lot of people with this type of pain.
