I should probably start by saying that I am a very active person- and enjoy being that way. I have had some recurring symptoms and new ones that are starting to interfere with my life style though. About 12 years ago I had mono and afterwards began to have times where my body would go numb and tingly- kind of like your leg feels when you have sat on it wrong and it has fallen asleep and is waking back up-only all over my body. My doctor said I would grow out of it- and the incidences have lessened, but never gone away. Now in the past six months I have begun to experience extreme fatigue - the only time I feel fully energized is when I drink lots of caffeine- and we all know that doesnt fix anything. I have also begun to experience frequent indigestion and stomach cramping, as well as difficulty with short term memory- I just make stupid mistakes I didnt make a year ago- and I'm only 22 so I dont think I should be losing my memory yet! I almost always get 8 hours of sleep a night- but always feel like going back to bed either before I get out or soon after. I'm just getting very frustrated because I feel like this is a time in my life when I should be able to get lots done- and all I want to do is lie around and sleep. Any ideas?
